What is individual Therapy:
Individual therapy is one type of psychotherapy in which a trained professional helps a single person work through personal issues they have been facing. It is an effective treatment for a variety of emotional difficulties that you cannot manage on your own.
How Does it Work:
It is a joint process between a therapist and a person in counseling. Common goals of therapy can be to help with change or improve quality of life. People may seek therapy for help with issues that are challenging to face alone.
What Can Psychotherapy help with:
Psychotherapy can help with issues ranging from stress, anger, marriage and relationship issues, anxiety, depression, abuse, trauma, or addiction.
How Long Does Each Session Last:
Normally the first session takes about 60 minutes for an intake process and then following the intake it will last up to 50 minutes.
What treatment approaches and modalities do you use:
My treatment approach is evidence base and some of the modalities I use are Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered, Strength Base , and Culturally Sensitive.
